Check My Takeoff™
Check My Takeoff™ is an independent review of your Callidus® flooring takeoff and the project documents behind it, done after you price the job and before you sign the contract or order materials. Commercial Flooring Estimating (CFE) verifies your quantities and checks specifications, addenda, RFIs and ASIs for a fixed fee, usually within 24–48 hours.

Why check a takeoff before you sign?
You've done the takeoff, priced the job and you know your margin. Check My Takeoff confirms that margin is real. One missed room, a wrong waste factor or an overlooked addendum can turn a profitable flooring job into a loss, and once the PO is cut, fixing it gets expensive.
Catching an error before materials are ordered costs a fraction of what it costs later. On a single project, a review can protect thousands of dollars, and on larger projects, hundreds of thousands. One missed quantity can set off:
- A material shortage on site
- A rush reorder and added freight
- A dye-lot or color mismatch
- A crew sent home and a return trip scheduled
- A delayed finish date and lost margin
Who Check My Takeoff protects
| Who | How a verified takeoff helps |
|---|---|
| Company owners | Confidence that the profit you bid is the profit you'll keep, before you commit the company to a contract. |
| Project managers | Verified quantities to build order forms and POs from, so you buy the right material in the right amounts the first time. |
| Installation crews | The right product on site and no shortages that stall the job, force return trips or push back the finish date. |
What we review
Every review covers your takeoff quantities and the documents that can change what you need to order:
| What we review | What we check |
|---|---|
| Callidus® takeoff quantities | Measured against the current drawings to confirm areas, products and waste. |
| Phase schedules | Material and labor line up with how the job will actually be built. |
| Division 1 – General Requirements | Alternates, submittals, attic stock, closeout and schedule obligations. |
| Division 3 – Concrete | Moisture limits, slab prep and flatness requirements that affect your flooring scope and cost. |
| Division 9 – Finishes | Products, accessories, transitions and installation methods. |
| Addenda | Changes issued after the bid documents that add, remove or revise flooring scope. |
| Requests for Information (RFIs) | Answers and clarifications that change quantities, products or methods. |
| Architect’s Supplemental Instructions (ASIs) | Supplemental changes that affect the flooring layout, finishes or details. |
| Memos and other issued documents | Any other pertinent information that directly impacts the flooring scope. |
